Meditation AND Yoga in one class? On Sunday afternoons, when you are so ready to escape from all the hustle and bustle of the week and just chill? Yes, please! Our amazing yoga belly dancer and certified yoga instructor Susanne Jackson, RYT 500, and yours truly have come together to offer you something very special - a crash course in meditation, Kundalini yoga and mindfulness to rewire your brain and enhance your life journey. During this 4-week course, you will: - learn about brainwaves and how they are connected to our state of mind and wellbeing; - learn how to meditate (intro to the body scan, gratitude, visualization and heartfulness meditations); - learn 4 breathing techniques to help you better harness and direct your energy throughout the day; - learn about your energy centers (chakras) and how blockages in the chakras correspond to certain physical and mental ailments; - learn the yoga poses that you can practice daily to help release the blockages in your energy centers; - receive practical advice on small changes that you can introduce into your lives to be happy all the time and every single day! We will meet every Sunday from August 14 through September 4 at 3:00 pm at our studio, and each class will be 1.5 hours long. Bring your yoga mat and let's do it, ladies! Let's raise our vibration and turn our lives around!
